Çise Ayhan Helvacıoğlu completed her undergraduate degree with a full scholarship at İstanbul Bilgi University, Communication Faculty, Television News and Programming Department. She also attended to several certificates programmes in the UK and USA. After completing her BA she continued her studies with an MA degree in Media and Communication at London Metropolitan University in 2014. Cise then started her Ph.D. program in the field of Communication Studies at the University of Vienna in Austria. While studying her PhD, she has also continued to make contributions to the field through presentations made in many academic publications and took part in conferences. Between 2016-2018 she worked as a research assistant at Beykent University, Communication Faculty, Visual Communication Department; As of the end of 2018, she is a research assistant at Istinye University, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, New Media (English) Department..
