The departments of Public Relations and Advertising, Radio, Television, and Cinema, and New Media and Communication were opened as part of the Faculty of Economic, Administrative, and Social Sciences as of 2018. In the academic year of May 2021, with the opening of the Department of Visual Communication Design, Istinye University will be established as the Faculty of Communication.
The Faculty of Communication was established to expand the academic offer of Istinye University and to train individuals specialized in the field of communication. The foundations of the Faculty were laid with the vision of creating an innovative and qualified education programme that follows current developments in the field of communication.
In 2022, our Faculty, which graduated its first students, is still among the young Faculties of Communication with its innovations and ambitious development. The Faculty aims to educate its students in accordance with the requirements of the times, following the innovations in the field of communication.
