On June 21, Research Assistant of the New Media and Communication Department Çise Ayhan Helvacıoğlu held a seminar for parents of kindergarten children at Vatan Schools Ataköy Campus on "New Media and Children."

The Istinye University Faculty of Communication hosted "A New Face: Spark AR Studio, Augmented Reality Instagram Filter Workshop" as part of High School Spring School.

On April 18-19, between 11 a.m. and 15 p.m., Istinye University, Faculty of Communication will host "Media Harvest" at Vadi Campus B1 Floor ISU Studio.

A conversation called "The Power of Social Media" was organized by Istinye University Faculty of Communication and Communication Design Club.

As part of the conversation, the pros and cons of social media were discussed by the participants. The conversations progressed over the topics of social media addiction, social media literacy, social media and beyond, and social media and privacy.

Within the scope of the Faculty of Communication, the "Media Harvest" event, which was held for the first time in Istinye University Vadi Campus between 18-19 April, was attended by the Departments of Public Relations and Advertising, Visual Communication Design, New Media and Communication, and Radio, Television and Cinema. Students' own works were exhibited.

In the media harvest event, in which the students participated intensively, short films, documentaries, commercials, and design works produced by the students over the past year met with the participants and lecturers.

"Media Harvest", where the student projects of the Faculty of Communication are exhibited, started. The works of Visual Communication Design Department students were also included in the screenings and exhibitions planned on the B1 floor of Vadi Campus on April 18-19.

Within our university, a spring workshop camp was organized for high school students between 13-15 April 2022.

Augmented reality (AR) workshop was held on April 14 as part of High School Spring Workshops organized by Istinye University Faculty of Communication. Faculty of Communication visiting professor Assoc. Dr. Ertan Toy (Yıldız Technical University) was the trainer of the event, titled "A New Face: Spark AR Studio Augmented Reality Instagram Filter Workshop".

The workshop focused on the usage features of Spark AR Studio, an augmented reality content production platform. The workshop, to which high school students showed great interest, was held in a laboratory environment at the Vadi Campus.

Ex-libris Workshop within the scope of ISU Faculty of Communication Skills Development Workshops, Istanbul Ex-libris Association President and Visual Communication Design faculty member Prof. It started at 11:00 on Tuesday, April 12, under the coordination of Hasip Pektaş.

Visual Communication Design Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Hasip Pektaş was the guest of live broadcast conversations about culture and art, prepared and presented by Kurtuluş Mehmet Sönmez, the founder of KMS Creative. The 4th International Ex-libris Competition Exhibition on "Pharmacy, Medicine and Human Health", hosted by Istinye University with the support of Istanbul Ex-libris Association and Selcuk Ecza Deposu, was opened in Istinye University Vadi Campus.
