Ruken Özgül Kılanç graduated from Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Management in 2000. Ruken Özgül Kılanç who holds a Master of Science degree in Production and Quality Management from Istanbul Kültür University, with the dissertation about Reputation Management she completed doctoral program in department of Public Relationship at Marmara University. She has worked as a specialist and consultant in various social responsibility projects in İstanbul Kültür University Research and Development Department and she worked as Assistant Coordinator in the "Academic Vision" training program on Habertürk TV channel. Since 2010, she has been working as a lecturer. Kılanç who has journals about public relationship and communications in refereed journals, chapter articles in books, get the title of associate professor in Applied Communication field. Professor Kılanç has been working at İstinye University since 2017. While she continue her academic life as a full-time faculty member at the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Communication at İstinye University, she has also assumed the administrative role of Department Head.
